Rhetor News

UX/UI Designer
May 2019 - Present

As a UX/UI designer for Rhetor News, I work closely with a group of stakeholders to help turn their concepts into reality through well-executed design. I began by conducting user research and sketching out initial wireframes and information architecture for the application. I am currently working to develop interactive prototypes and a design system for the application.

When I started at Rhetor, the design team was small and it has grown since my introduction. I now organize and lead the whole design team through the design process at Rhetor.

Web Design Intern
March 2019 - Present

As a web design intern for MorrisonDance, I was tasked with creating a 508 compliant website. I met with stakeholders to define the target audience and their vision for the website. After meeting with stakeholders , I generated information architecture of the website and initial wireframes. I also created vector image assets for their company branding needs. Throughout my design process, I worked closely with stakeholders to ensure that they were comfortable with the final product.

CAMVETS Challenge America

UX/UI Volunteer
Feb 2019 - May 2019

CAMVETS Challenge America was a volunteer event for people in the community to come together to help veterans in need. I participated in CAMVETS and joined Team Ginger. Our challenge was to find a solution to help veterans cope with PTSD symptoms throughout the day. My team decided to create an iOS app with an Apple Watch companion app. This opportunity gave me the chance to impact someone's life through the use of design and learn from senior designers who were also on my team. I helped generate image assets, work through user flows, and participated in team discussions to facilitate better design.
